Abstract
The current condition of the Russian machine-tool industry is analyzed, and its prospects for development are discussed. An important development is the creation of machine-tool clusters. Analysis of international and Russian experience with cluster development supports the development of cluster ecosystems, with a view to accelerating the industry’s growth.
