Structure of cutting processes and equipment. Part 1. Energy-information model of the structure of machining processes

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Fundamental principles in structure formation and classification for cutting processes are considered. Analysis of the energy-information components and characteristics of the processes reveals structural principles that reflect their mutual influence. Approaches to the classification and assessment of cutting processes in terms of energy efficiency are described.
