Two-dimensional clusters in digital metallographic images of steel’s ferritic-pearlitic microstructure

Abstract

The prospects for cluster theory in the analysis of digital metallographic images of steel’s ferritic-pearlitic microstructure are shown. The distribution and correlation characteristics of pearlite clusters on metallographic images are of particular interest for linear and planimetric analysis.
