Electromechanical drive for rotary mechanisms in spacecraft

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

It has been shown the advantages of electromechanical drive of angular rotation with torque ac converter-fed motor, epicyclic gear, and with cylinder-conic engagement in comparison with existing drives of the same intention. The block diagram of the drive and of reductor engagement, and also some recommendations of how to calculate it are presented.
