Microprocessor-Based Current Protection Based on a Four-Dimensional Representation of Operating Parameters

Abstract

An algorithm of a current protection measuring device based on a four-dimensional representation of a signal is proposed for cases in which the input signal can be represented by the sum of complex amplitudes with complex frequencies. In comparison with the existing iterative algorithms, the proposed algorithm has a wider scope of application and can be used to analyze the results of simplified deterministic mathematical and physical models of power systems.
