Analysis of surface conditions of electrical insulating structures under influence of precipitation

Abstract

The method of estimating the humidity insulator’s surface under the influence of rain is considered. A way of increasing the water-repellent properties (water repellency) of a surface is proposed. Tests are conducted and positive results are obtained.
