Abstract

The regularities of the ion flotation of copper are investigated with the use of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (DEDTK) in an apparatus designed at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys. The results of investigation into the structure of the obtained precipitates of copper DEDTK are presented. The distribution over the size of air bubbles in a new flotation apparatus is analyzed. The effect that a series of factors have on the degree of removal of copper ions from model solutions is shown.
