Laser Diagnostics of Weak Polarization Responses of Nanoparticle Ensembles

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

Prospects are considered for the development of precision optical laser polarization diagnostics of ordered substances, materials, and nanosystems. The fundamental possibility of separating and comparatively analyzing random and regular variations of weak polarization responses associated with the low optical birefringence of diluted magnetic nanofluids is shown for the first time.
