Abstract

A method for comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of a cutting tool during its introduction into operation is presented. The method allows not using the monetary equivalent when normalizing the parameters; therefore, all the initial parameters are applied in their natural units of measurement. The obtained partial effects show the advantage of a prototype product in comparison with the base one in terms of a separate property. The combined effect gives the idea of the entire complex of the properties of the product under consideration.
