Features of Texture Formation of High-Carbon Steel Wire after Combined Deformation Treatment

  • Published:
Steel in Translation Aims and scope

Abstract

The results of a study of the features of texture formation and spatial parameters of the surface of high-carbon steel wire after combined deformation treatment by drawing with alternating bending and torsion are presented. The obtained results indicate that the process of formation of a pronounced deformation texture with anisotropy of properties characteristic of drawing is observed in the processed wire.
