Production of New Cutting-Edge Kinds of Hardware for Automobile Industry at JSC BelZAN

Abstract

This article presents the main consumers of hardware in the Russian automotive industry. The work aimed at using local content in producing fastening parts at foreign automobile assembly plants is analyzed by the example of JSC Belebeevsky zavod Avtonormal. This work is currently being developed only by the Renault-Nissan Alliance & AvtoVAZ and Volkswagen Group Rus. JSC Belebeevsky zavod Avtonormal is actively developing, perfectioning and supplying new kinds of high-strength hardware, invests in modern manufacturing equipment and technologies, and develops and perfections new sparingly alloyed steel grades in cooperation with metallurgical enterprises.
