  • Published:
Steel in Translation Aims and scope

Abstract

Attention focuses on the production of hot-rolled 20ΓюgT steel strip and coil, as well as bent profiles, for KamAZ. Conditions of controlled rolling and accelerated cooling are developed to stabilize the mechanical properties of the metal. A shaping technology for longitudinal beams is proposed, in accordance with KamAZ geometric specifications.
