Abstract

The demineralization processes of humic substances of different genesis were studied. It was found that the ash components of humic substances from brown coals and peat have different nature, and their demineralization with the use of traditional methods does not make it possible to completely remove ash components. It was established that the removal of Fe3+ from humic substances can be performed only with the use of hydrofluoric acid (HF). The method of their demineralization was substantiated.
