Solid Fuel Chemistry Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Anthracites of the Gorlovo Basin are characterized, and data on their petrographic and chemical compositions, structure, and properties are reported, as well as the data on the alteration in the structure and properties during thermal treatment and on the interaction of calcined anthracite with pitches. Main lines in the advanced utilization of anthracites as both an energy fuel and a feedstock for industrial processes are considered.
