Quality criteria and optimization of RR-Type MEMS gyro designs

Abstract

An approach aimed at forming complex criteria intended to assess the quality of RR-type MEMS gyro designs, taking into account both the scale factor and overload capacity, is proposed. Using complex criteria based on the qualimetry principles makes it possible to estimate a complex of properties that are characterized by diverse and mutually contradictory relations between the gyro parameters and the design parameters of gyro suspensions. These complex criteria provide for objective comparison of different gyro designs and their parametric optimization.
