Abstract

Department of Laser Measurement and Navigation Systems at St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University is engaged in research and development of test beds for inertial systems and sensors. We present a range of test beds from single-axis turntables to precision three-axis test beds with temperature chambers. The paper focuses on an SDA-15 automatic two-axis test bed and contains the program of its initial and periodical qualification testing. Metrological solutions include both the traditional methods of performance evaluation and a customized contactless method to evaluate nonorthogonality of two rotation axes.
