Abstract

The paper considers synthesis of stationary filters (SFs), i.e., filters with a constant gain matrix. These filters have been shown to be unable of providing a high quality of data processing over the total time interval up to the steady-state mode. SF optimization at t → ∞ degrades the processing quality in the initial period; when reduced, this error causes in increase in the steady-state error. We propose a number of criteria for selecting SF gain factors. The required processing quality is reached by using two-stage filters.
