Abstract

In the short history of the “Online Interdisciplinary Expert Panel” approach, there were some essential “discoveries” concerning flaws in the contemporary theory of the surface tension of condensed matter. For liquids, it was proved that their surface tension force had no clearly defined subject to its application and consequently no correct definition of the surface tension; recently it was proposed for the first time. For solids, it was shown that multiple incorrect citations from Gibbs, for example of pseudo-notions like “cleavage,” “reversible cleavage” and “cutting up the body,” created the favorable conditions for the false theory of surface tension based on the Shuttleworth equation having no experimental confirmation.
