Abstract
The possibility of using a computer analysis of the surface images of a steel electrode upon polarization when studying the formation of anodic dissolution sites based on the brightness spectrum is illustrated. A numerical spectral parameter that characterizes the anodic dissolution sequence of separate structural constituents of an iron-carbon alloy is proposed.
