Abstract
The issues of developing a technique for manufacturing products from wood-pressing masses of MDPO-V grade obtained using thermosetting (resole) modified phenol–formaldehyde resins have been considered. It is shown that the press material using modified phenol–formaldehyde resin of the SFZh-SF-5 grade has high fluidity, and the obtained wood-based composite materials are characterized by high physical and mechanical properties and do not have a pronounced red-brown tint, the presence of which is usually a disadvantage for wood-based materials.
