Abstract

This work analyzes the process of changing the paradigm of scientific development: from highly specialized knowledge and a branch economy to mergers and convergence of science and technologies. The emergence of this new scientific and technological structure, based on convergence of nano-bio-info-cognitive (NBIC) science and technologies is discussed and the role of social and humanitarian sciences in this process is emphasized. The main goal of convergence of NBIC is the creation of anthropomorphic technical systems similar to living natural constructions. This objective will be implemented on the basis of interdisciplinary research and new integrated technologies and convergence of the highest technological achievements and our knowledge in the field of wildlife and humans.
