Cycloalka[c]pyridine derivatives. Methods of synthesis and chemical properties

Abstract

The review generalizes and systemizes data published over the past 15 years on the synthesis and chemical properties of cycloalka[c]pyridine derivatives that are important intermediate products used in the synthesis of alkaloids, enzyme inhibitors, and drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and bronchial asthma.

Ivan Vladimirovich Dyachenko was born in 1987 in Lugansk. In 2009, he graduated from the Taras Shevchenko Lugansk National University and in 2012 finished postgraduate courses therein. Candidate of chemical sciences. Since 2014, he works as assistant professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Taras Shevchenko Lugansk National University.

Fields of scientific interest: enamino ketones, nitrogen heterocycles, nucleophilic vinylic substitution reactions.

Vladimir Danilovich Dyachenko was born in 1961 in Brusovka village, Lugansk oblast, Ukraine. In 1983, he graduated from the Shevchenko Voroshilovgrad (now Lugansk) State Pedagogical Institute and in 1985–1988 studied at post-graduate courses at the same institute. Candidate of Chemical Sciences since 1990, Doctor of Chemical Sciences since 1998, head of the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis since 1990, associate professor of the Department of Chemistry since 1995. Since 1994, he heads the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Taras Shevchenko Lugansk National University, in 2008–2014, dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, professor since 2001. Since 2016, chief researcher of the Kostroma State University. V.D. Dyachenko has trained 8 candidates of sciences.

Fields of scientific interest: CH acids, activated alkenes, chalcogen- and nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds.
