Abstract
Possibility of substituting barium ions with strontium ions in the stratified sheelite structure of Li3Ba2R3(MoO4)8 (sp. gr. C2/c) was examined. The molybdates Li3BaSrR3(MoO4)8 were synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction analysis, differential-thermal analysis, and IR spectroscopy.
