Electrochemical trifluoromethylation of ethylene on various anode materials

Abstract

Glassy carbon, smooth platinum, and platinum-plated glassy carbon were tested as anode materials in electrochemical trifluoromethylation of ethylene. The reaction products were identified and specific features of the process were examined.
