Copolymerization of acrylamide with sodium acrylate in aqueous salt solutions

Abstract

Kinetic relationships in homogeneous radical copolymerization of acrylamide with sodium acrylate, initiated by potassium peroxosulfate in concentrated aqueous solutions at 60°C, were examined in relation to the ionic strength of the solution and pH of the medium.
