Abstract
The Tc Ru alloys prepared by reactor irradiation of metallic Tc were examined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The distribution of Ru throughout the depth of the irradiated sample was examined by X-ray spectral microanalysis and spectrophotometry at layer-by-layer dissolution of the sample. Nonuniform distribution of Ru throughout the depth of the irradiated sample was revealed, with increased Ru content in the surface layer.
