Abstract
The slope of an oval-trench dimple in the corridor package on the stabilized hydrodynamic section of the narrow channel has a dramatic effect on the anomalous intensification of the separated and vortex flows in the dimple, leading to a three- to fourfold decrease in the relative negative friction in the range of angles from 40° to 60°, an increase in the maximum velocity of separated and secondary flow up to 0.8 and 1.18 in relation to the average mass flow rate in the channel.
