Transmission of Transverse Magnetization in Spin-Exchange Collisions of Alkali Metal Atoms

Abstract

An experiment on the observation of the effect of transmitting the transverse spin magnetization in spin-exchange collisions of cesium atoms with optically aligned rubidium atoms is described.
