Abstract
The influence of the external optical feedback on the shape of detected signals of a semiconductor laser autodyne has been studied. A method of determining the amplitude of nanovibrations with allowance for the level of the external optical feedback is proposed, which is based on measurements of the ratio of amplitudes of the main spectral components of the autodyne signal from these vibrations and upon the application of additional mechanical oscillations. It is experimentally confirmed that the proposed method ensures a significant increase in the accuracy of determination of the amplitude of nanovibrations.
