Abstract
Modification of the surface of PETP (Dacron) track membranes by ultrathin films of polysiloxane block copolymers provides new composite membranes with a hydrophobic surface and retained pore space. It is demonstrated that a uniform distribution of a nanodimensional modifier (fullerene) in a polymer matrix can be achieved, which ensures a high strength of the composite layer.
