Determining the contribution of higher modes to the impedance of magnetic microwires measured using the waveguide method

Abstract

A method of experimental determination of the contribution of higher modes to the impedance of microwires is described, which provides an increase in the accuracy of impedance measurements by the waveguide technique developed previously. The proposed method is based on measurements of the reflection coefficient of a wire with the known impedance.
