Abstract

A theory of the nonlinear surface acoustic waves in semiconductors containing paramagnetic impurities is constructed. The formation of surface acoustic breathers under the conditions of self-induced transparency is considered. Explicit analytic expressions for the breathers of Rayleigh waves are obtained. It is shown that the interaction of an acoustic wave with conduction electrons leads to a weak damping of the wave amplitude and a change in the breather parameters.
