Exchange dependence of the spin-Hamiltonian constants for antiferromagnetically coupled S-ion pairs

Abstract

Experimental data that indicate the existence of an exchange-dependent contribution to single-ion spin-Hamiltonian constants for antiferromagnetically coupled S-ion pairs in diamagnetic crystals are reported and generalized.
