Relation between the scattering angle and the emission measure in the interstellar medium

Abstract

The empirical dependence of the scattering angle on the emission measure in the Galaxy is constructed, and suggestions made for the use of this dependence in practice. It is shown that the relative level of turbulent fluctuations of the interstellar plasma grows with the electron density.
