Abstract
Peculiarities of the estimation of the state of sections with casting flaws in cast parts using acoustic-emission (AE) method are considered. The dynamics of variations in AE parameters for developing flaws during mechanical tests is analyzed. The methods for distinguishing useful information of AE signals from the regions of localization of casting flaws are revealed.
