Comparison of autoemission properties of tungsten/n-and p-type semiconductor systems

Abstract

W/Cs3Sb and W/TiO2 field-emission cathodes have been produced and investigated. The emission characteristics obtained for both cathode types were better than for standard tungsten cathode. Physical models of these emitters have been proposed and experimentally confirmed.
