Abstract

Solid electrolytes with potassium-cation conductivity in the K1 − 2x Pb x GaO2 system were synthesized and studied. It was found that solid solutions based on potassium monogallate are formed in a wide range of compositions. They contain vacancies in the potassium sublattice that provide for high conductivity of electrolytes. The relationship is considered between electric characteristics of solid electrolytes and the composition and structure of solid solutions. The results are compared to the earlier obtained data for similar solid electrolytes based on potassium monoaluminate and monoferrite.
