Nonsteady-state processes of water transfer in solid-polymer membrane: a mathematical model

Abstract

The regularities of electroosmotic and diffusion water transport are shown in the case of hydrogen ionization in the porous anode layer applied on the proton-exchange membrane surface. The possibility of critical phenomena due to drying of a membrane region adjacent to the anode is shown.
