Abstract
Academic editions of books by Russian writers are the result of the careful work of Russian philologists, who are true specialists in archival investigations, in text attribution and exegesis, in the restoration of what was lost, in the correction of previous mistakes, and so on. The author of this paper heard by a RAS Presidium meeting shared his thoughts about ways of solving new problems associated with preparing for publication small-scale academic works and academic complete works by classics of Russian literature.
