Producing second-generation biofuel from plant materials

Abstract

Moscow oblast served as an example for the first assessment of the main energy costs of growing and harvesting grain straw and bale transportation to biofuel factories, as well as of the capacity and limits of straw-biofuel production. Prospects for biofuel production from woodworking waste are also considered.
