Abstract

This article presents the results of electrophysiological control of the stereotactic method for treating patients with Parkinson’s disease or some forms of neuromotor dyskinesia and epilepsy. Our practice shows that different diseases can be corrected by electrostimulations and/or microdestructions of the same deep brain structures. This fact leads to the conclusion that the pathophysiological mechanisms of the formation of these diseases are similar and have some features in common.
