Abstract

We describe the results obtained from retrofitting the burner devices used in a K-50-14-250 boiler that was carried out together with putting in use a technology for staged combustion of Kuznetsk gas coal in a U-shaped flame in a furnace having a two-sided oppositely shifted layout of burners and nozzles. The retrofitting made it possible to achieve more reliable and more economically and environmentally efficient operation of the boiler.
