Abstract
An analysis and results from investigations into the effect of the power output, layout, and operating conditions of burners on the total heat transfer in the furnaces of power-generating boilers are presented. A calculation procedure that takes these factors into account is proposed, and conclusions regarding the lines of research for improving the procedure are formulated.
