  • Published:
Theoretical Foundations of Chemical Engineering Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

A problem is formulated and analytically solved that describes heat and mass transfer in the drying of a flat solid (or the bed of a material) in an oscillating electromagnetic field under the third-kind boundary conditions for heat and mass transfer. Numerical analysis of the process is performed.
