Abstract

The special features of heterogeneous phase equilibria in three-component mixtures were studied. In particular, new equations for relations between azeotropes and points corresponding to the pure components were obtained. The use of the Zharov equation for the passage from concentration simplexes to concentration complexes was shown to lead to serious errors in the determination of the nonlocal features of phase diagrams.
