Abstract

The phenomenological coefficients of the phenomenological equations (laws) obtained for anisotropic media, in particular, interphase separation regions, were studied. Generally, these coefficients are tensors of rank from 0 to 4. An attempt was made to find a general procedure for the determination of nonzero tensor components when cross phenomenological coefficient are present in phenomenological equations including generalized thermodynamic forces with various tensor ranks.
