Abstract

0.0021–0.44 M TiO2 hydrosols have been prepared by an ultrasound-assisted method using titania hydrogel precipitated from TiCl4 solution. The hydrosols contain amorphous primary titania particles ∼5 nm in size, combined into aggregations having average sizes of 22–51 nm.
