Abstract

Some originals of Permian ray-finned fish from European Russia from the collection of D.N. Esin, which was transferred to PIN RAS, are revised. Diagnoses and images of taxa that changed their systematic status since the original description are given: Reticulolepis insolita (now Strelnia insolita), Samarichthys nikolaevae (formerly Acroctenolepis nikolaevae), Wardichthys inobilis (junior synonym of Kargalichthys pritokensis), Amblypterina pectinata (junior synonym of Isadia suchonensis), and Amblypterina grandicostata (junior synonym of Isadia aristoviensis). Additionally, images of the holotypes of Reticulolepis insolita and Samarichthys nikolaevae are provided for the first time.
