Abstract

By the interaction of TmCl3 with KFormDipp (FormDipp = N,N′-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-formamidinate) [Tm(FormDipp)2Cl(THF)] (1) and [KTm(FormDipp)2Cl2]2(2) complexes are obtained. The reaction of 1 with potassium thiophenolate is studied. Its product is found to be [Tm(FormDipp)2(SPh)(THF)] complex (3). The structure of all prepared compounds is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction of the following solid phases: 1a (P-1) and 1b (P21/n) phases being two solvent-free polymorphs for complex 1; 2·0.5C7H8> and 3·C7H8 phases containing solvate toluene molecules for complexes 2 and 3.
