Abstract—
An X-ray image detector for a microfocus radiography unit has been developed. The use of a polycapillary optics element coupled to a commercially available CMOS sensor has made it possible to develop a compact detector design without a bulky lens. The methods for experimental determination of the detector parameters and characteristics are presented. The basic spatial resolution of the manufactured detector is determined, the signal-to-noise ratio of the obtained images is estimated, and the modulation transfer functions are constructed. Software has been developed in the C++ language to work with the detector, and its main features and functionality are presented.
